MISSION STATEMENT:

Brittany & Anthony Personal Styling Services aims to revitalize and bring enjoyment back into the experience of getting ready every day. Through the use of traditional styling, Brittany Kilpatrick, stylist and owner of Brittany & Anthony, helps clients to edit down and bring in items that will elevate a one’s wardrobe. The recommendations provided will be fit to a client’s needs, factoring in details such as one’s body type, measurements, skin tone, eye color, lifestyle, preferences, and budget. Our aim is to have our clients leave with useful information and a selection of garments that will allow them to live life more confidently and feel capable of creating flattering, exciting, and practical looks every day and for every occasion.

Brittany Kilpatrick is a fashion journalism major at Academy of Art University. After completing her fashion journalism requirements, she plans to continue her education and receive a second bachelor’s degree in Styling. Her coursework thus far has exposed her to the realms of fashion, product, and personal styling, as well as trend forecasting analysis, jewelry, textiles, and runway reporting. Through her work as a personal stylist, she wants to provide her clients with insights that will allow them try out practical and applicable new trends, find the perfect staple items, and adjust one’s wardrobe as needed.

SERVICES:

Initial Consultation:

The stylist will meet with the client to discuss his/her preferences, attire that is needed based on his/her lifestyle, budgetary allowance for services, and current needs for one’s wardrobe. Measurements will be taken, a client questionnaire will be filled out, and a lifestyle grid will be generated during this meeting.

Wardrobe Edit:

The stylist will meet at the client’s home to help him/her eliminate items that no longer fit, and/or suit the lifestyle or preferences of the client. The stylist and client will also make note of gaps that are present within the wardrobe and come up a budgetary allowance for the items that need to be added to the client’s closet.

Outfit Collage Cards:

The client will be given a set of 5 - 10 collage cards with outfit ideas for various occasions and environments. In addition to the collages, clients will receive an hour-long session, on Zoom or in person, to discuss tips and the nuances of styling these items together. Finally, the client will receive a document containing the tips and information discussed in this session for future application.

Personal Shopping:

Based on the client’s needs detailed in the initial consultation, as well as a follow-up conversation, included with this service, the stylist will pull options for the client’s consideration in-store and online.

Seasonal Closet Revamp: 

The stylist will sort through the client’s wardrobe to help them eliminate or store away items that are not in season. Depending on the size of the closet and the number of items in it, this can take one to two hours.

Semi-Formal, Formal, and/or Travel Attire:

The stylist will meet with the client to discuss any upcoming trips or special events that are taking place. The stylist will help the client plan one or more looks depending on the occasion and duration. The stylist and client will work together to pull items from local and online stores for these occasions, where needed.

ADD-ON SERVICES:

Wardrobe Inventory and Recently Purchased Items Printed Guide: 

The stylist will photograph all wardrobe items of significance, and items that were recently purchased, and compile a booklet of these items. Items will be divided into categories, with a table of contents for easy reference. Five outfit ideas will be supplied at the end of the        document for further guidance.
